   White's,

Here is a short story on my wife's ring find.

We left early on Saturday morning to detect the Fern Ridge Lake area in Eugene, Oregon. We stopped at the Richardson Park area and got our XLT and DFX detectors ready to hunt.

As we started to hunt I made a comment to my wife "The first one to find a gold ring is the winner for the day." We were really looking for a gold ring as it had been a long time since either of us had found a gold ring. We then took off in different directions and hunted for around 2 hours. I found a nice "silver" dime and was very happy. It was my first silver coin in a long time.

We were getting ready to leave so I approached my wife to show her my silver dime which I was very proud of. She asked me if I had found a gold ring. I answered no and then she pulled out this absolutely beautiful 14kt gold ring with diamonds on it and showed it to me.

What a beautiful ring. We are going to take it to a gemologist and have one diamond that was missing replaced. It was a very exciting day for both of us with the silver dime and the beautiful gold ring.
