White’s,

John from Klamath Falls, Oregon spends many hours with his White’s XLT looking for items in and around the Klamath Falls area. He also will look for items in California. The pictures show items that have been found in Tulelake California, these items came from the war of 1872.

Some of the items he found were Army riffle cartridges, the letter B in the picture indicates the B Company. You will also see cross cannons that they wore on their military caps. The brass buckles were for their belts. The metal spur was connected to the heel of their boots. It was used to spur the horse to go faster. The chisel in the picture was used to cut metal or wood. Various military buttons were also found.

He absolutely loves metal detecting, not only for what he finds but it also gives him great exercise.
