White's Electronics,

I went out to a favorite spot of mine that I have pounded out over the years. It is a great late 1700s home site that has yielded bust, and seated silvers, large Cents ring and tons of other goodies. Today I was under the impression that I probably wouldn’t find much. I decided to branch out some from the yard and into the fields and I found an odd 1 piece Columbian Revolutionary button ca. 1820s.

Then about an hour or so later I got a good reading on the trusty DFX and flipped over a deep plug and there was the back of a 2 piece button in the plug. I turned it over and there it was! My 1st Confederate button! And a Script I at that!

I was so excited the happy dance soon followed. I snapped a pic with my phone and sent it to all my detecting buddies, and got back to hunting. 2 steps further I got another good tone when I dug it out imagine my surprise when I found yet another Script I!!!! I was almost giddy at this point and I snapped another pic of the 2 and sent them to my buddies.

By this time they were calling me congratulating me and just then I got another good signal and low and behold another Script I from about 8" and this one was the best of them all! I have been extremely fortunate to dig some great items but this day will be one to remember. Thanks to White's Electronics and the truly amazing DFX!
