Dear White's,

A couple of summers ago a friend of mine said to me," Hey, you should come out metal detecting with me. It's really fun". So, he let me borrow his low end, garage sale metal detector and I began to swing it around. Boom! 1st dig was a musket ball and I have been hooked ever since!

Every time he and I would go out, he would always find the better targets, and quicker. I noticed he was using a White’s Prizm V detector. So, last summer I landed one of these fine machines. I began searching a spot near where I had previously found some pretty cool targets. Boom! I got a solid 1 cent signal, so I dug it up, rubbed it off and to my delight it was an 1831 large cent!

I checked the hole again and got another beep....another large cent! After 2 more large cents and a small wedding band (all from the same hole). Things cooled back down again. Wow! My best find ever. This hole kind of reminded me of when you are fishing, and all the fish start biting at once!

Thank you White’s for helping me uncover history, one dig at a time.
