" Iron is Good " was a quote from a friend of mine and local museum curator many years back. He had stopped over and I was showing him some of my finds that included mostly non-ferrous item. Silver coins, Buttons, Bullets and Musket balls.

I was telling him how good my White’s was at rejecting iron. That's when he came off with the “Iron is Good “quote. He is and had been a long time collector of Civil War items, many of which are iron such as shell fragments. That's about the time I turned into a serious Relic Hunter and have never looked back.

To me the DFX is the Most Awesome Relic Hunting Machine out there. I have tried several other brands of machines and nothing beats the DFX for Target I.D. The Whiskey Rebellion Cannonball fragment he wants bad, has offered me money for it on several occasions. Maybe someday I will “Loan” it to the museum.

Man I can't wait till spring this weather is killing me.

HH Bob
