Last week while talking about going to a tailing pile, Hannah my 10 yr old Grand daughter over heard me, and said that see would like to go. We headed out about 6:30 and arrived at the tailing pile about 8:30. I raked while she detected with the GMT. Sure enough after a while she found her first nugget. I thought that she would be tired by noon, but she had the fever. In all she found 4 nuggets and a piece of limonite with gold in it. It was a great day and the best part is that she wants to go again.
