White's Electronics,

This past Tuesday I decided to go out detecting with my MXT Pro at a park close by my home. It’s the main park in my city of Canada and it’s always good to find some old coins and modern clad. It always gives me something interesting as well.

Tuesday it gave up this older sterling silver ring very close to a tree, I was getting a lot of pull tab signals, I dug a few, but when I went over the ring it jumped from pull tab to 1 cent, with a small bar, so the MXT Pro wasn’t sure, I always dig when it’s not sure this has proven well many times.

The ring is marked “sterling bmco”, with no 925 mark but I’m thinking it’s older and many older items don’t have the 925 marking. It looks as though it’s a children’s ring as it’s quite small.

Gotta love my MXT Pro
