Dear White's,

I decided to buy a White’s V3i detector. I knew there would be a big learning curve since it has so many features. I was wondering if I was adjusting the machine right so I went to my local White’s dealer (Sam P.), who is a friend of mine.

I wanted to get a 4x6 DD shooter coil and try it. I like the 4x6 coil because it separates the target better vs. a larger coil. He took me to a couple of empty lots that he had permission to hunt. We hunted this ground for about an hour. We were not finding too much and were just about to give up and go home when I got a good quarter signal. After digging down 4-5 inches I found a nice Dodge Brothers radiator emblem. I thought it looked really cool so I went over to show it to my friend. It’s from the mid 1930’s.

So to all the White’s V3i new users, keep plugging away with your V3i’s and reading those forums and you’ll get better and find even more items as you go.

Thanks for making a great detector!
