Dear White's Electronics,

When I was a kid, I really enjoyed following people around parks and schools, looking over their shoulders, as they dug up old coins and rings. I always had a fascination with metal detectors and dreamed of one day finding treasures of my own. Well, as I grew older, I finally got the chance to purchase an MXT Pro. I purchased it about a year ago and can’t stop hunting!

Just yesterday, I went to an old park that had been hunted many times by others. I took out my MXT Pro and attached my 6X10 Eclipse DD coil. I saw a line of trees that offered a good amount of shade and figured that most people would hang out around there. I started swinging my metal detector and after about only 4 minutes, WHAM!!! I hit a very good signal at a VDI of 30. The screen said that the item was about 5 inches down so I started digging. To my surprise, a 6 gram men’s gold ring popped out of the hole. Remember, this park has been hit HARD by other metal detectors!! I cleaned it off and noticed a nice 18K stamp on the inside. YES!!!

Well, I usually hunt with friends, but they weren’t able to make it that day. I was so upset that nobody was around to celebrate with me. But as I turned around, I noticed an 8 year old kid looking over my shoulder with a great big smile. I’m guessing another future White’s owner. What a great day!

Thanks,

LodiHunter (CA)
