I had been saving for a long time for an MXT. So I finally was able to purchase a used one from a gentleman near where I live. I brought it home Sunday night and didn't have a chance to do much until Tuesday. I got out hunting for about a half hour then had to leave because of weather. I wound up bringing home $.60 in clad. Not bad for a very short hunt.

The next day, Wednesday, my wife wanted to go with me, so we went to a local ball field that I figured had not been hunted much. A friend loaned me a Bullseye to assist in recovery also. We were out of the truck and swinging for a grand total of 20 minutes before we found our first gold ring! A smaller solitaire keeper. Then we moved about 15 feet and swung again and the next hit was this beauty. 14K gold band with 13 diamonds in the set with clarity of "D"!

The first ring was in the grass on the surface, the second, the good one, was nearly a foot down and thanks to the Lesche and the loaner Bullseye we recovered the cost of my detector and the digging tools in one swing! I will absolutely have to get a Bullseye soon, but this MXT is a dream. What a machine! I have only been in the hobby for a month and a half and started with a competitors entry level machine that I wouldn't dare to get out of the wood chips with and can guarantee it would not have found these rings. White's all the way!
