Item Found: Beach

Location: Southeast

Metal Detector Used: Coinmaster Series (800-0339)

July 1st, 2014

Last Sunday after church I decided to go metal detecting on the beach during low tide. So I loaded up my trusty Coinmaster GT [this is my 2nd one, the first one became food for a shark]. After hitting the surf-line for about an hour, and picking up a lot of change I received a great signal, I didn't even bother looking at my VDI Target readings because I knew was something good. After getting a big pile of wet sand in my scoop I saw something shimmering with the color of gold in my scope. After pulling it out of the scoop and rinsing it off in the saltwater I saw a pair of gold praying hands much to my joy. After bringing it home, I found out it was 10 karat gold and it weighed 15.9 grams. I have to say this is my best find ever. I must say if it wasn't for a White's metal detector I more than likely would have never found this. Once again, thank you White's for make such a great machine.
