Last night I went to a small town about 30 miles away to check a street that was tore up. I got there about 6:30am and the crews were just finishing up. One of the workers told me that they had just pulled up the sidewalks, and once they left I started detecting.

It started great with a silver Eisenhower and just got better! I found a buffalo nickel and then a few wheats. The day was very hot and when night came it didn’t cool off much, but the bugs came out and I almost quit. I decided to stick it out, and I am glad I did.

I got a jumpy signal and when I dug it, I found three silvers, a Washington quarter, Eisenhower dime, and a mercury in one hole still stacked on top of each other. The finds just kept coming. The final count was 4 wheat’s, 3 Indians, 1 war nickel, 1 buffalo, 1 V nickel, 2 silver Eisenhower’s, 2 mercury’s, 1 barber dime, 1 silver Washington quarter, a silver ring, a rod marked sterling and a token.

By far my best day ever! Thank you White’s, I love my DFX.
