White's Electronics

I was contacted recently by a homeowners association in upstate New York to help solve a problem. Nobody would believe them that bullets were coming into their yards. We decided to have a bullet hunt. I got together 8 detectorist who were not from the area so as to not influence the findings.

We recovered 20 bullets from yards that came from a nearby gun club. We also discovered 2 in the walls of homes. We worked with the State Police and flagged all the targets. They were amazed that we recovered so many targets where children play.

The homeowners do not want to sue the gun club. They simply want them to redirect the outdoor shooting range which should be a simple matter. Up until this point in time the club has never believed that bullets were landing in yards. The issue is now resolved with these recoveries. The homeowners were happy with our work and provided us with a great pizza party where we all had fun. On a side note we got to keep any coins we found. Guess who found an 1832 large cent for the oldest coin of the day.

Thanks

Bob (NY)
