My name is Doug and Me and a few friends were out looking for places to detect when we came up on an old farm house. The man said we could detect if we helped him look for his mothers wedding band. I let my friends detect and I told the man I would help him find it. He said it was a gold band and that she had lost it while shucking corn. The man was 78 years old and I ask him when she had lost it. I was shocked when he told me she lost it in 1948! I told him I would do my best. I used my new V3 and went to work. I came across quite a few signal because the place in the field she lost it was also where they burned trash. I was hoping so bad I could find it for him. After about 20 minutes of searching I got a solid hit at about 6 inches. I went to analyze mode and the V3 was telling me that it was gold and small type target. It sounded really good. I cut my plug and pulled back the flap. I saw something that looked like a bottle cap side and when I reached for it and rubbed the side of it I saw gold! It was his moms ring! I yelled at him..I found it! I was so proud to be able to hand it to him! His hand was shaking as he reached for it. I looked him in the eyes and was smiling when I noticed his lips were trembling and he looked as if he was going to cry. I have never felt more proud. I owe it all to Whites and there great machines that they make! There is no way I could have found that ring with any other machine with all that trash that was around. Because of the Whites Spectra V3, I am very happy and An old man can finally put to rest the fact that he has his mothers wedding band back in his possession.

Thank you Whites!
