Item Found: Relic

Location: Michigan

Metal Detector Used: Other (800-0300)

Hello Whites,

I’d like to share an exciting adventure with you. By researching an old map, I located an old homestead right near where I live. The open farm fields of today hide the fact that a house stood on that very spot over 100 years ago.

While searching the site, my Whites XLT did an excellent job of separating the treasure from the trash. Along with a few old tools and relics, I found some of my oldest coins ever. The photo shows an 1872 Canadian half dollar, 1876 Canadian large cent, 1886 and 1905 Indian head cents and an 1892 Barber dime.

Thank you, Whites, for a great metal detector and for the adventures I’ve enjoyed while using it.

Darryl Q.
