Went to an old farm field today, that has been hunted for years by many people. It was partially harvested, so I started to search the newly plowed section. It was pretty quiet for a while, only finding a few pieces of scrap copper, until I got a nice solid hit. I checked in both directions, and just knew it was something good. I flipped the plug, and using my pin pointer, found a nice old copper coin looking up at me. It turned out to be a 1740 King George Halfpenny! It was in great shape for being in the ground for possibly 275 years. Thank you Whites for making such a great product.
