Details

The MXT All Pro is a slightly more modern take on the legendary performance and simplicity of the MXT line. The all-new keypad, high-efficiency backlight, Tone ID, and Ground Grab settings lock are just some of the responses to customer feedback on one of the most popular metal detectors of all time. The 10″ DD comes standard, and is well-suited to all-around hunting and highly mineralized ground.

Three separate programs give you versatility with different target responses, display info, and audio frequencies for relics, prospecting, and coins/jewelry.

Relic: Specifically identifies buttons, buckles, and bullets with three options for tone ID.
Prospecting: Iron Grunt for targets for high probability of being iron.
Coin/Jewelry: Coin/jewelry/trash target ID with seven tones telling you the type of target before you dig.

Long-time users of the MXT appreciate the simplicity of its controls-

Gain maximizes sensitivity and depth. Threshold allows you to hunt with a slight hum or hear only the sound of detected targets. Dual control functions differently in each program.

With its simple, rugged design and ease of use it’s no wonder the MXT has so many fans.

Well I’m back in the saddle, sold my first MXT, had seller remorse-soon after selling it. I fell back to using one of my other detectors-not White’s. Every time that I went out, I kept wondering if I was finding everything like I did with my MXT. Well the local dealer had a special on V-day.. So I bought the newer MXT Pro- Like most of us- who needs instructions- After going out with my pro- it didn’t take long to realize there several improvements. The one thing, I haven’t found on youtube is- where is the sweet spot (PP) on the stock All Pro DD loop?
Yes you can X a target, but during a recent competition Hunt (Quartzsite, AZ) I went to- lots of targets- Fast retrieval-means locating the target quickly and moving to the next. Somewhere-there must be Youtube or Jpeg-detailing DD loop Tricks. Well today is Tday-I’m going to be in the backyard-working on PP Skills – ID’ing the loops sweet spot.

What can you say about a legend and a true detecting icon. The MXT All Pro is the best detector ever made and has remained ahead of the game since the launch of the first model, the “MXT E Series Tracker”. Every model since has kept that dream alive by adding ground breaking features such as Ground Grab and a VCO Non Motion Pinpoint mode and a 3 level back light, with 7 Tone ID, and with the original 3-mode switch with 7 sub-modes and with the aid of the salt switch adds another 7 sub modes along with the non-motion All-Metal Pinpoint mode Lock plus the standard pinpoint mode giving a total of 16 search modes. What this boils down to is a machine that will work in the 4 corners of the globe. Add to that the industrial-build quality and you end up with a machine that can take the rough with the smooth and still come back for more. You can tailor the MXT to suit any task in any conditions with the choice of 9 Whites accessory coils where the only limits are set by the user from hunting gold nuggets to Civil War relics and every thing in between. This is a world class machine with a history to match.

Im growing to really like the MXT All Pro. After going from a 5900 SL Di Pro to a V3i, I hade a major learning curve that continues today. I do take my 5900 out for walks just to have a nice, simpler machine to find stuff with. Recently, I had a chance to get a new MXT All Pro and found its similar to the 5900 in that its a fairly simple machine to use. After almost a dozen times out with the MXT, im really getting used to the machine and its own quirks. Been a White’s fan and owner since 1971 and will have them till I die. All will be passed on to my grandkids and hope they keep the tradition going.

I own the MXT All Pro and I love it. You can find a few posts on here that show how excited I am about this machine. This machine is built very well, from its finely handcrafted metal control box to its new double d coil. I have found many treasures with it in the short time I have owned it. It performs in “hot” ground very well. For instance a beach that we go to often contains so much black sand a magnet looks like a porcupine with one sweep through it. I can put this machine on sensitivity 3 and cut through it to find coins at five inches deep. I use it water hunting in the same area and find treasure all day long. I hang out with the local metal detector club sometimes and there are several MXT’s being used by members. I can testify they work extremely well in and out of the water in all soils. The price and the availability of coils makes this a total bargain and the go to machine for many users. I highly recommend this machine for your arsenal. Get one as soon as you can, you will not be sorry! Happy Hunting!

I started with a coinmate then the coinmaster gt. Then I finally made the move to a top dollar machine. And I have used all kinds of top dollar machines. And I am so happy that I bought the mxt all pro. My silver count has gone from 20 coins a year to 52 silvers and it’s only August. And I found my oldest coin 1740 king George. In my opinion. BEST MACHINE OUT THERE. .
